Interlibrary loan service (using the Hold Request feature) between the Coffee County Lannom Memorial Library and the Coffee County Manchester Public Library is now a reality.
Up to three books per person will be shuttled between the owning library and the borrowing library (where the patron chooses to pick up and/or drop off the book). The courier service may take up to five days from the day the book becomes available until it is delivered by courier to the borrowing library for the patron to pick up.
Certain items, such as genealogy materials, reference materials and DVDs, will not be available for this interlibrary loan service.
Patrons should remember to indicate which library they prefer to pick up the book when placing a hold request. Hold requests may be made by visiting the library in person or from a home computer by visiting the library’s website.

The problem is with the way that AOL does its caching in such a way that is not in keeping with the industry standards for iBistro; the AOL caching does not handle the session identifiers correctly.
Unfortunately, there is nothing that we can do on our side as iBistro is standards compliant, but AOL has decided to not render the site using these standards.
We recommend that you try using Internet Explorer or Firefox with your AOL acct.

As a patron of Lannom Library, you can download complete ebook and audiobook titles from R.E.A.D.S.
This is a free service and one that we are really excited to bring to you.
The R.E.A.D.S. collection will expand throughout the year so be sure and check it often for new titles.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library will help you read with your child. Every child will have books of their very own, at no cost to you, thanks to Governor Bredesen and the State of Tennessee, Coffee County Partnership for Tomorrow, Inc., other generous sponsors and Dolly Parton.

Submit a Hold Request
Place hold on our iBistro System
Sometimes materials that you need are not immediately available because others have them checked out, or the library does not include the item in its holdings. iBistro includes several ways of communicating your needs to the library.
Placing a hold online for an item that is checked out to another patron
Patrons are placed on the hold list on a first come basis based on your user category.
Here is the order of categories:
1. City
2. County
3. State
4. TLC
5. Out of State
So a city patron will have priority over a County user.

In My Account, information about current library transactions can be viewed, a personal identification number (PIN) can be changed, the address the library has on file for you can be changed, or checked-out materials can be renewed.
Every authorized library user has a user record, which identifies the user and contains information about the user’s circulation activity. iBistro references a user record based on the entered User ID. Each user record also contains a personal identification number (PIN) which ensures that library activity is confidential.
If you haven’t already logged in, you may be prompted to log in to iBistro when you attempt to change information in My Account. This login is only valid for the duration of the current transaction.
