Obtain a Library Card

You are entitled to receive a library card, free of charge, if you are a resident of Coffee County or a person residing within the surrounding area.

Residents under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when applying for a card as it is necessary to obtain a parent/guardian signature.

First-time library users may borrow two items on their first visit. After patron has returned the first items, they may borrow items as outlined under CHECKOUT.

You need to present your library card to checkout items. A receipt is given to you stating when the item is to be returned.

A patron is responsible for all items checked out on his or her card.

Patrons must use their own card to check out material.

Items may be returned after hours by using the book drop.

A library card is a legally binding contract.

Acceptance of a library card means you agree to our policies.

Treat your card like a credit card, if lost or stolen please report it to the library.
